Song of the week: “My Wish”

By Sadie Jackson

The last song of the week for year is “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts.

I chose this song because I wanted to do something in honor of all the seniors.

I am really going to miss the seniors for next year, especially the ones in my “newspaper family.”

The lyrics say just what I want to when words fail me:

“My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,

Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,

You never need to carry more than you can hold,

And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,

I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,

Yeah, this, is my wish”

Some of Rascal Flatts other popular songs are “God Bless the Broken Road” and “Sarabeth (Skin)”
