TAHS girls volleyball celebrates Senior Night

By Ashley Hamilton, sophomore

The TAHS girls volleyball team celebrated Senior Night on November 1st, 2011 in the TAMS gymnasium. Seniors Rebecca Fry, Megan Rizzo, Courtney McMonagle, and Breanna Williams were honored by walking across the gymnasium with their parents.

“Beating Bellefonte and forming close relationships with the girls [are my greatest memories],” Fry said that evening. “Each season the competition got harder and harder, but we have been working harder and harder together. I am content that we made history by winning a game.”

Fry went on to say that she appreciated the other seniors and is glad they could be on the same team together.

Younger members of the volleyball team, like sophomore Kathleen Beck, will miss these seniors next year.

“I will miss Breanna because she made practices awesome, and she was apart of ‘B, N, C, K.’ I’ve known [Becca] forever. Megan was just a sweetheart, and Courtney was so good,” Beck said.

Beck encouraged senior volleyball players to “follow your dreams, laugh and never be too serious because you’ll miss all the good stuff in life.”
