Q: What teacher are you the student teacher for?
A: Mr. McNitt.
Q: What subject are you teaching?
A: Economy and US History.
Q: What college do you attend?
A: Penn State, University Park.
Q: What are you majoring in?
A: Secondary education social studies.
Q: When are you graduating?
A: May 2012.
Q: Why did you choose to become a teacher?
A: I had good teachers in school that made an impact and I want to do the same.
Q: Did you get to choose to student teach at Tyrone?
A: yes and no. I was originally placed in Philly but changed my schedule and moved back here.
Q: Do you enjoy teaching here? Why?
A: Yes. There are great teachers and the kids are fun.
Q: Would you work at Tyrone if you got the chance? Why or why not?
A: Yes for the same reason and it’s a great environment.
Q: What is your favorite part of the day? Why?
A: I don’t have a favorite time because I’ve set up a routine and it all works.
Q: What is your least favorite part of the day? Why?
A: Mornings because they are hectic.
Q: Do you have a favorite period? Which one and why?
A: No because all of my periods are different and they each have their own personality.
Q: What inspired you to become a teacher?
A: My 9th grade history teacher. She made class fun.
Q: Where did you graduate from high school?
A: Council Rock.
Q: Did you play any sports in high school? If so what?
A: I played lacrosse and was in the Big Brothers & Big Sisters program.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: In the summer I like spending time with friends, and in the winter/school year I enjoy going to the football games.
Q: What is your favorite subject?
A: Political sciences
Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: “The Godfather.”
Q: What kind of music do you like?
A: Country.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Pasta.
