Troy Budziszewski is the new gym, dance, and health student teacher here at Tyrone Area High School. Budziszewski teaches with both Mrs. Park, high school gym teacher, and Mrs. Myers, high school health teacher.
Budziszewski has been attending Penn State University Park for 4 years now. This is his last year and he is ecstatic to graduate in May. He is getting his Bachelors of Science and his major in Kinesiology. Budziszewski will be teaching here until March 2nd. He will then head down to teach Tyrone’s Elementary School.
Park and Budziszewski work together every day during 3rd, 5th, and 7th period. Park says that she can tell that the students really enjoy Budziszewski by the way they interact with him and how they are very respectful towards his authority.
Rosa Shuey, 11th grader at TAHS, said, “[Budziszewski] is a pretty awesome teacher.”
Myers works with Budziszewski every day during periods two, six, and eight. She said that she hopes that Budziszewski will accomplish “the burning desire to teach after he graduates.” She went on to say that she hopes he has fun learning to become a teacher.
Park said that she hopes to teach Budziszewski “ideas on discipline, teaching strategies, and ways to improve his teaching.”
Budziszewski said, “Of course I [like being a part of Tyrone High].” He went on to say how he has a lot of fun every day with both the students and the teachers.
Mr. B is a pretty awesome gym teacher because he enjoys getting into a game with everyone, he isn't strict with the rules of the game, and he's funny to talk to.
