Q & A with Mrs. Mienaber, Mr. Bouslough’s student teacher

Q: What teacher are you the student teacher for?
A: Mr. Bouslough.

Q: What subject are you teaching?
A: Language arts and science.

Q: What college do you attend?
A: Penn State, University Park.

Q: What are you majoring in?
A: Elementary education with a minor in psychology.

Q: When are you graduating?
A: May 2012.

Q: Why did you choose to become a teacher?
A: I wanted to be able to work with kids and help them understand.

Q: Did you get to choose to student teach at Tyrone?
A: No, it was random.

Q: Do you enjoy teaching here? Why?
A: Yes. It’s a good district and there are good teachers.

Q: Would you work at Tyrone if you got the chance? Why or why not?
A: Yes, same reason.

Q: What is your favorite part of the day? Why?
A: The morning because I get to see everyone.

Q: What is your least favorite part of the day? Why?
A: When the students are acting up.

Q: Do you have a favorite period? Which one and why?
A: Math because it’s my favorite subject.

Q: What inspired you to become a teacher?
A: Seeing what my teachers did when I was in school.

Q: Where did you graduate from high school?
A: San Diego, California.

Q: Did you play any sports in high school? If so what?
A: No, I was in the band.

Q: What are your hobbies?
A: Drawing and hanging with friends.

Q: What is your favorite subject?
A: Math and science.

Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: “Lord of the Rings” series.

Q: What kind of music do you like?
A: Anything.

Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Pizza.
