Since last year, the Eagle’s Nest, school store, has sold a variety of merchandise: apple juice orange juice, gum, erasers, water, propel, Gatorade, pencils, gummy bears, pickles, cookies, pop tarts, granola bars, pens and more, to many TAMS and TAHS students and staff.
The store is open from 7:40 to 8:05am and from 3:15 to 3:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Student members of Marketing II work in the store in five different groups. They advertise by putting signs up around the school in the morning and by announcements on Channel T.
Josh Maier, Marketing III student, said “we have a school store so students can get snacks and utensils when needed.”
The store gets new merchandise and makes orders when they sell out.
The store’s profit is put into the store’s account, marketing trips, new merchandise and to merchandise expansion.
Seniors Maier, Kendra Noye and Alicia Kurtz believe the store is going to be successful in the future.”
Kurtz and Noye wants future store workers to try new things and keep the store organized. While Maier also says to be nice to the customers.
