Wrestling Spotlight with Christian Getz

Q: What weight class do you wrestle in?
A: 150lbs-170lbs.

Q: How long have you been involved in wrestling?
A: Since I was in Kindergarten.

Q: Why do you like wrestling?
A: Because it keeps me in shape and I get to hang out with my friends.

Q: What was your most memorable experience in wrestling?
A: Winning the Bellwood tournament in Jr. High.

Q: Who do you think is the most influential player on your team?
A: Definitely Alan Salyer because he gives really good speeches.

Q: What might fans be surprised to learn about this team?
A: We have a lot of young kids on the team and we are still winning matches.

Q: Who are your coaches?
A: Coach Desch, Coach Packer, Coach Sam, Coach Tate, and Coach Walk.

Q: What do you think of them?
A: I like my coaches a lot. They are very influential.

Q: Do you plan on keeping wrestling in your future for after high school?
A: No.

Q: How much does your team practice?
A: Every day for an hour and a half.

Q: When and where are team practices held?
A: Down in the cage at 5 P.M.
