Lady Eagles highlights of the season

1/10- Jordyn Swogger hitting key shots and Alex Brooks made the reverse layup to help the Lady Eagles beat Central Mountain.

1/9- First quarter Lady Eagles went on a 12-0 lead and kept the lead the rest of the game beating Penns Valley.

1/6-The Lady Eagles intensity and Olivia Stever strong inside stopped the Bellefonte Red Raiders beating them 50-8.

1/4- The intensity during the second half picked up with Alayna Hettinger hitting two three pointers and the Lady Eagles went on a 10 point run and beat the Lady Bison of Clearfield.

12/29- Beating, the Lady Mounties in the championship game for the win was one of the Lady Eagle’s goals for the season.

12/28- The Lady Eagles beat Mifflinburg advancing to the championship in the Penns Valley Christmas tournament.

12/23- The Lady Eagles kept their cool when the game got close and came out on top beating the Lady Eagles of Bald Eagle 64-54.

12/22- In the consolation game the Lady Eagles didn’t want to take last place. By playing their hardest they beat the Lady Trojans of Erie McDowell 62-50.

12/20- Although they played their hearts out and had the best intensity all year and Nicole Gripp made big shots the Lady Eagles fell short to Hollidaysburg 54-67.

12/14- Thanks to Alex Brooks with the reverse layup, the Lady Eagles celebrated a win over Philipsburg 68-24.

12/12- At the beginning the Lady Eagles were on a roll scoring against Huntington, but at the end it got sloppy and Huntington started to come back. Lady eagles stayed strong with Morgan Taylor and Emily Brokenshire hitting their shots. The Lady Eagles pulled out the victory 68-56.

12/10- The Lady Eagles opened the season with a Pink game to raise money for Breast Cancer. Playing Bellwood, the girl’s team was ready to go and win this game, but in the end, they fell short. The Lady Eagles lost 49-61.
