Four TAHS students recognized for SAT scores

By Bethany Harker

Four TAHS students received an 1800 or above on the SATs. They were seniors Morgan Decker, Spencer Mazer, Tim Crabtree, and Skylar Yanchick. These students were presented with a keychain with their initials at the school board meeting on May 7, 2012.

“It feels pretty swell to achieve an 1800 or above on the SATs,” Yanchick said.

“It was like a cooling waterfall that washed all my cares away,” Mazer said. “I got a keychain of victory with my initials on it. Also, it grants a plus five to the confidence.”

Mr. Everhart, eleventh grade English teacher, suggests taking his SAT review class and read challenging material in order to prepare for the SATs.

“I did practice questions and studied a lot in preparation for the SATs,” Decker said.
