Golden Eagles soar over Bald Eagles

By Corey Snyder

The battle of the eagles wasn’t really much of a battle. The Golden Eagles established the running game early, and took it to the Bald Eagles Friday night and took Tyrone’s record to (6-1).

Maybe one of the worst field conditions he has ever played on in 33 years of coaching Tyrone Coach John Franco said, it wasn’t enough to stop the high flying eagles of Tyrone that exploded early and took over the game.

Tyrone came out with a purpose and put up the first score of the game with a methodical drive that was capped by a J.D Dorminy 1-yard plunge.

Dorminy also had 107-yards in interception returns that actually outgained Bald Eagles offense that was held by the Golden Eagles defense for 105-yards.
